Posted on 01/12/2009 in News — No comments
Grant from Speak and I have just launched a web site for my favourite cafe in Leederville (dare I say Perth) — Sayers Food
For this project, Grant has experimented with Golden ratios (in what he calls über grid), and the results are amazing.
Be sure to check it out, and to follow them on twitter.
The Adam and Eve Projects goes live
Posted on 13/10/2009 in News — No comments
Back in the dark ages of the web (6 or so years ago), I worked as a developer for a London-based fashion broadcaster, called SHOWstudio, where I worked on some cool projects like the first ever mobile camera-phone to website gateway (using the then brand new Nokia 7650).
Fast-forward to last week, and I'm pushing out a new Fashion and Art broadcaster: The Adam and Eve Projects. Ironically, I got the job via a guy I used to work with at show, Paul Bruty and one of the first projects includes my old boss: Nick Knight.
Each week, there will be a new project from some really big names in the fashion and art world.

8 Limbs Ashtanga Yoga site goes live
Posted on 28/07/2009 in News — No comments
I'd like to think that the twotwenty crew is part of the small community of business here around Carr Place in Leederville. I love the fact that we know the names of the business owners around us and that we exchange pleasantries as we pass each other on the street.
Having a web company next door can be really handy when you need a website revamp — just ask the Gregor and Monica from 8 Limbs yoga!
They approached us to look at a new website for them which was launched in the late hours of yesterday evening. The design, which was quite ambitious (as far as website go that is) was done by Adrianne at bird.STUDIOS, and was expertly cut out by twotwenty's own Pascal Bompard.
The site runs on SchwaCMS, with the shopping cart addon, and has a custom built timetable and class management system.
Whilst it was a challenging build, the result really mirrors feeling of the studio.
Moose: Art for Living goes live... Again!

Good friend of of the show, Moose: Art for Living has been relaunched.
Whilst visual changes are fairly minor (although still significant), the real changes are behind-the-scenes. It's now running on the MadPilot Framework and using SchwaCMS. It's also around 5–10x faster which really makes the use experience so much nicer.
Go and have a look — especially if you like pretty things.
Talbot Olivier goes live

bird.STUDIOS and MadPilot have just launched the new Talbot Olivier website.
The brief for this site was elegant, professional yet personal and Adrianne has once again done a great job achieving this.
